About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Co-Op position with the AdvanSix Frankford Environmental Group. The term runs for six months, from September 22, 2026, through March 26, 2027. You will work within the Frankford plant to maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations while collaborating with engineering and operations staff. Mentorship and training will be provided by environmental engineers and managers throughout the term.
What you'll do#
- Inspect the plant for environmental or safety issues.
- Assist in the development of management systems and department procedures.
- Calculate environmental emissions.
- Contribute ideas to improve environmental performance.
- Assist with regulatory reporting obligations.
- Participate in problem solving and investigation initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program related to Environmental, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration.
- Knowledge of EPA compliance and Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
- Ability to perform environmental emissions calculations.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to assist in complex problem solving.
- Professionalism and a strong work ethic.

- Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (On-site).
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, with flexible daily hours.
- Compensation: $25.00 per hour.
