About the role#
Advanced Behavioral Health Inc. offers a clinical internship for students pursuing a master's degree. This position provides 20 hours of work per week. You will receive supervision while gaining experience in a clinical setting.
What you'll do#
- Conduct individual, group, joint, or family therapy sessions.
- Manage your own schedule to meet program standards.
- Maintain accurate clinical notes and complete all documentation by assigned deadlines.
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect client confidentiality.
- Respond to messages from clients, families, and staff within 24 hours.
- Attend weekly individual supervision and monthly group supervision meetings.
- Participate in monthly staff meetings and complete quality assurance audits.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as an active student in a master's program in Psychology, Nursing, or Public Health.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Familiarity with the clinic territory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
