About the role#
Advanced Behavioral Health Inc. offers a paid clinical internship for students pursuing a master's degree. This program provides hands-on experience in a clinical setting to prepare you for your future career. You will work 20 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Meet with clients for individual, group, joint, or family sessions.
- Schedule appointments according to program standards.
- Complete clinical notes and documentation within required deadlines.
- Follow all HIPAA guidelines and maintain client confidentiality.
- Attend monthly staff meetings and participate in group supervision at least once per month.
- Collaborate with guardians, family members, and other team members to support your clients.
- Respond to communications from clients, families, and staff within 24 hours.
- Complete monthly QA audits and EVS assignments.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as an active student in a master's program.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Knowledge of the clinic territory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with management and other employees.
- Majors accepted include Psychology, Nursing, Public Health, Health Administration, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Kinesiology, Biomedical Sciences, or Sociology.

- Compensation: $14 per hour for direct clinical hours.
