About the role#
Advanced Behavioral Health Inc. is hiring an IT Support Intern to assist with daily operations at our Frederick office. This role offers the opportunity to gain practical experience in hardware, software, networking, and cybersecurity while supporting our mental health programs. You will serve as the primary point of contact for technical needs and coordinate with our external IT partners.
What you'll do#
- Act as the first point of contact for daily technology and equipment support.
- Coordinate with our third-party IT partner to resolve technical issues.
- Assist with the onboarding and offboarding process for employees, including account setup and equipment provisioning.
- Install and configure hardware, software, printers, and office equipment.
- Serve as a liaison for IT software vendors and maintenance activities.
- Manage cell phone setups and act as the RingCentral point of contact for troubleshooting.
- Maintain records of technology assets, user access, and equipment.
- Support technology deployments and upgrades.
- Create and update IT procedures, documentation, and user guides.
- Monitor the company info email and share cybersecurity best practices.
- Travel to other sites or vendor locations when necessary.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program at an accredited college or university.
- Ability to work at least 20 hours per week.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational, problem-solving, and management abilities.
- A desire to learn about the information technology profession.
- Ability to learn new skills and share knowledge within a team.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a personable approach when dealing with various personalities.
Location & details#
- Location: On-site in Frederick, Maryland.
- Schedule: 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Compensation: $15 per hour (W2).
- Term: Rolling.
