About the role#
Acutronic Group is hiring an Electrical Engineer Intern for our Austin, Texas location. You will gain practical experience by supporting the design, testing, and development of Electro-Mechanical actuation systems while working alongside experienced engineering professionals.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the design and analysis of electrical systems for Electro-Mechanical actuators.
- Support the development of control circuits and systems, including power distribution and signal processing.
- Participate in the testing and validation of actuator prototypes and components.
- Troubleshoot system-level issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of electrical and mechanical components.
- Document design processes, test results, and engineering reports.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Completion of at least two years at an accredited college or university.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 in engineering courses.
- Basic understanding of circuit design, control systems, and electrical principles.
- Strong critical thinking skills and keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency with computers and the ability to multi-task.
- Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
