About the role#
Acutronic is hiring a Test Engineer Intern to join the team in Austin. You will assist engineers with the testing and validation of micro gas turbine engines. This role allows you to apply your academic studies to real-world projects alongside experienced professionals.
What you'll do#
- Execute testing and validation or qualification of products based on defined procedures.
- Record and document all test data and results.
- Work with engineers to define acceptance criteria and limits.
- Monitor production controls and measures for new and existing products.
- Create and maintain documentation, including workflows, quality records, certifications, and traceability materials.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- At least two years of completed coursework at an accredited university.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 in engineering courses.
- A basic understanding of testing methodologies and engineering principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent computer and communication skills.
- Ability to work on your own initiative and collaborate within a team.

- This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship.
