About the role#
The Business Technology Solutions internship offers students the chance to work in either a Data Engineering or Software Engineering track. You will support technology projects that help answer scientific or business questions. This is a full-time, paid, 11-week summer program.
What you'll do#
- Design, build, and maintain enterprise applications.
- Develop and test responsive user interfaces.
- Build backend services, APIs, and microservices.
- Implement server-side logic, workflows, and data pipelines.
- Optimize systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Build and maintain data infrastructure, including databases.
- Ensure data is processed and stored securely.
- Integrate different data sources to support analytics and data science.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, AI, or a related field.
- Must have a minor or concentration in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, AI, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Must be enrolled in university for the semester following the internship.
- Ability to graduate within one year after the internship concludes.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher.
- Previous internship or related experience.
- Strong analytical skills and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated teamwork, adaptability, initiative, and integrity.
- Skills in communication, leadership, and project management.
