About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for the Winter 2027 term based in Pointe-Claire, Quebec. You will work on-site to support the Electrification Installation Products division by managing production equipment data and optimizing inventory systems.
What you'll do#
- Maintain and update the parts database within the ERP system, including descriptions and supplier information.
- Create and configure items and components for production equipment using technical data.
- Organize and optimize spare parts inventory by classifying and identifying items to ensure accurate system records.
- Reorganize stock by grouping components by category or part type.
- Conduct physical inventory counts and track stock quantities to maintain accurate records.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
- Proficiency in French and English, as you will communicate with customers outside of Quebec.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- A team-oriented mindset with experience in multidisciplinary environments.
- Creative, logical, and resourceful problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of a CMMS platform, such as Interal, is an asset.
