The Instructional Design and Facilitation Intern will support the creation, delivery, and evaluation of learning programs aimed at enhancing organizational effectiveness and workforce development. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both instructional design and live facilitation by working with learning and development professionals to support frontline, operational, and leadership audiences.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the manager and stakeholders to design and develop comprehensive training programs.
- Assist in the creation of instructional materials, including e-learning courses, facilitator guides, participant workbooks, job aids, and videos.
- Apply instructional design principles and adult learning theories to create learner-centered training solutions.
- Conduct quality checks on instructional materials to ensure they meet established design and development standards.
- Assist with facilitating virtual and in-person training sessions, workshops, and learning events.
- Support training logistics and coordination for learning initiatives across teams and sites.
- Collect participant feedback and assist in evaluating training effectiveness to identify opportunities for improvement.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
- Strong presentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough quality checks.
- Interest in facilitation, workforce development, and operational or manufacturing learning environments.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to support training delivery and learning events.

- Location: Remote (with potential travel to sites as needed).
- Term: Summer 2026.
- Status: Full-time, paid internship.
