About the role#
The Instructional Design and Facilitation Intern will support the creation, delivery, and evaluation of learning programs designed to enhance organizational effectiveness and workforce development. This role provides hands-on experience in both instructional design and live facilitation by working with learning and development professionals to support frontline, operational, and leadership audiences.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the manager and stakeholders to design and develop comprehensive training programs.
- Create instructional materials, including e-learning courses, facilitator guides, participant workbooks, job aids, and videos.
- Apply instructional design principles and adult learning theories to develop learner-centered training solutions.
- Conduct quality checks on instructional materials to ensure they meet established design and development standards.
- Assist with facilitating virtual and in-person training sessions, workshops, and learning events.
- Support training logistics and coordination for learning initiatives across various teams and sites.
- Collect participant feedback and assist in evaluating training effectiveness to support continuous improvement.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
- Strong presentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough quality checks.
- Interest in facilitation, workforce development, and operational or manufacturing learning environments.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time internship scheduled for Summer 2026 with a 6-month duration.
- The role is remote, though it may require occasional travel to sites for training delivery and learning events.
