About the role#
As a Construction Management Intern in Dallas-Fort Worth, you will help build the ground infrastructure needed for our drone delivery network. You will work with the Ground Systems Construction team to manage projects from initial site identification through permitting and final construction. This role involves working alongside internal teams like Engineering, Operations, and Government Affairs to ensure our sites are operational and meet our schedule and cost targets.
What you'll do#
- Support construction projects and real estate development to ensure targets are met.
- Help improve construction methods and internal processes.
- Identify and mitigate risks during pre-construction and construction phases.
- Track and communicate project timelines to internal teams.
- Source and manage general contractors and subcontractors across various trades.
- Assist with site-readiness walks and quality checks.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate Development, or a related field.
- Completed at least the second year of undergraduate studies.
- Familiarity with construction software such as Bluebeam or Procore.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to travel frequently throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
