About the role#
This is a full-time, 6-month internship based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, scheduled for the Fall 2026 term. As a Technical Service Intern, you will gain hands-on experience with internal service operations and the 2nd Level Service structure. You will own and drive projects that contribute to service operations and customer support improvements.
What you'll do#
- Support 2nd Level Service by analyzing cases and suggesting process improvements.
- Serve as project lead for small-scale projects within the department.
- Take initiative on tasks including data collection, record updates, and following up on open 2nd Level issues.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve overall service quality.
- Use database and reporting tools to extract and review service and equipment data.
- Prepare concise written summaries, reports, and presentations on service metrics and topics.
- Present key findings and lessons learned to management at the end of the term.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Strong creativity, initiative, and problem-solving skills.
- High learning agility with an openness to feedback.
- Solid organizational, time management, and basic technical project management skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to present to stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- A results-focused mindset and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
