About the role#
As a Student Staff I, you will work with the local Young Life team in Auburn, Washington. This part-time position focuses on ministry leadership, spiritual development, and resource management. You will work under the guidance of an area director to gain experience in ministry skills and personal development.
What you'll do#
- Develop a yearly personal growth plan to foster your spiritual life.
- Engage in active church community participation and lead others in spiritual development.
- Recruit and train new leaders while modeling excellence in club, Campaigners, and camping.
- Meet regularly with volunteer leaders and area leadership.
- Raise financial support and maintain donor care practices.
- Communicate ministry updates to your donor partners.
- Assist with camp fundraisers and adult functions.
- Conduct Young Life club and discipleship ministry with your team.
- Implement camping strategies for the school season and summer.
- Handle office administration tasks and complete expense reports.
- Adhere to all organization policies and procedures.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a college degree.
- Proven ability to build relationships with both kids and adults.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- You must profess a belief in Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and Lord.
- You must subscribe to the Young Life Statement of Faith.
