About the role#
Young Life Military offers a long-term internship for individuals who want to serve and grow in their walk with Christ. You will work alongside experienced staff at a military installation to provide ministry to teens. This role focuses on building community, modeling a personal example of faith, and helping teens develop connections and hope. You will be expected to live near the community where you serve.
What you'll do#
- Lead and conduct Club Beyond club and small group ministry with a team.
- Meet weekly with supervising staff using team agenda tools.
- Develop and follow a 90-day personal growth plan.
- Attend Chapel on installation and participate in volunteer leader meetings.
- Recruit and train new leaders to build a diverse leadership team.
- Meet weekly with a volunteer to support their involvement.
- Assist with community outreach to unchurched teens and provide discipleship to believing teens.
- Lead and equip volunteers for middle and high school youth ministry.
- Communicate monthly updates to your personal donor partners and discuss raising financial support with your supervisor.
What you'll need#
- You must have graduated high school at least 2 years ago.
- A deep love for Christ and for lost teens.
- A teachable heart and strong initiative.
- Ability to communicate well.
- Willingness to raise part of the budget through personal support.
- Commitment to a relational ministry approach.
- Experience or skills in small event planning.
- An energetic personality.

- This position is located in Georgia, United States.
- The role is on-site and full-time.
- This is a paid internship, though participants are responsible for raising a portion of the budget through personal support.
