About the role#
This position offers hands-on experience in data management, problem-solving, and nonprofit operations. You will support the development team by organizing donor information, analyzing trends, and maintaining accurate records to strengthen community-serving programs.
What you'll do#
- Enter and maintain donor data in CRM systems under supervision.
- Assist with reconciling donations and ensuring accuracy.
- Prepare simple reports to help understand donor engagement.
- Support improvements to donor experience processes.
- Help with meeting notes, scheduling, and administrative tasks.
- Assist with event coordination and digital engagement activities.
What you'll need#
- Experience with spreadsheets, including Excel and Google Sheets.
- Basic data entry and record-keeping skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Ability to identify errors and ensure data accuracy.
- Comfort learning new software and technology platforms.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, such as Salesforce, is an asset but not required.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Communications, Human Resources, or Marketing.
Location & details#
- Location: Remote (Ontario, Canada).
- Term: Summer 2026 (8-week program).
- Commitment: Full-time, 35 hours per week.
- Eligibility: This position is funded by the Canada Summer Jobs grant program. To participate, you must be between 15 and 30 years of age, hold a valid SIN, and be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or a person to whom refugee status has been granted.
