About the role#
Join our Resources - Industrial and Mining division in Laval. You will support projects ranging from conceptual studies to full execution, including commissioning and industrial programming. This internship offers exposure to strategic projects in electrical, mechanical, industrial, mining, or institutional sectors.
What you'll do#
- Produce plans, specifications, and details for engineering projects.
- Perform quantity take-offs and assist in preparing budget estimates.
- Help verify and produce tender documents and other technical files.
- Assist the project manager and attend coordination meetings with the design team.
- Visit job sites to gather technical data and verify existing conditions.
- Monitor construction progress to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
- Write site visit reports, documenting observations, non-conformities, and recommendations.
- Work with contractors, suppliers, and project team members to resolve field issues.
- Perform related tasks to support project delivery.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's program in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Interest in the industrial and mining sector and large-scale projects.
- Ability to learn quickly and contribute within a collaborative team.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD 2D and 3D is an asset.
- ASP Construction certification and a valid driver's license are assets.
