About the role#
Introba is seeking an Electrical Designer intern for our Victoria, British Columbia office for the Summer of 2027. This full-time position offers the chance to gain hands-on experience in the buildings space by working alongside senior engineers on diverse projects.
What you'll do#
- Become familiar with engineering plans and details.
- Perform quantity take-offs.
- Assist with project monitoring and scheduling.
- Assist with computer modeling and the production of progress reports.
- Collaborate with engineers, drafters, and support staff.
- Assist in the production of engineering drawings, calculations, and cost estimates.
- Apply proper codes and standards to engineering deliverables.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelors program for Electrical Engineering.
- Experience with MS Word, Excel, and general engineering software.
- Exposure to computer-aided design software like AutoCAD or Revit.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- A commitment to integrity, innovation, and continuous learning.
