About the role#
We are looking for an Electrical Engineering Intern to join our Calgary office for a 4-month summer 2027 internship. You will work alongside engineers and support staff on a variety of projects. This role provides hands-on experience and the opportunity to develop your technical skills in a collaborative environment.
What you'll do#
- Learn engineering plans and project details.
- Perform quantity take-offs.
- Assist with project monitoring, scheduling, and computer modeling.
- Prepare progress reports.
- Work with engineers, drafters, and support staff.
- Help produce engineering drawings, calculations, and cost estimates under the supervision of senior engineers.
- Apply relevant codes and standards to engineering deliverables.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelors program for Electrical Engineering at an accredited university.
- Experience with MS Word, Excel, and engineering software.
- Exposure to computer-aided design software like AutoCAD or Revit.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A commitment to integrity, innovation, and continuous learning.
