About the role#
The 2027 Summer Internship in Private Banking is a 10-week, full-time program designed for college students interested in financial services. You will work directly with industry professionals to support wealth management operations and gain insight into how a bank provides tailored financial solutions to clients. This is a paid position that includes mentorship, networking opportunities, and exposure to senior management.
What you'll do#
- Support Portfolio Administrators with daily client account servicing, including account setup, money movement, and maintenance.
- Conduct market research and assist with various marketing initiatives.
- Create reports and projects for senior management to support business operations.
- Learn about Private Bank products, services, and lending solutions.
- Participate in volunteer initiatives, employee resource groups, and company social events.
What you'll need#
- You must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- You should have completed at least one full year of college by May 2027.
- A major in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Accounting is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and fundamental computer skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Critical thinking, analytical, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation.
Location & details#
- The position is based in Berwyn, Pennsylvania.
- This is an on-site role requiring up to 5 days per week at the office.
- You must be available for a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week from early June through mid-August 2027.
- Candidates must be available for both in-person and virtual interviews, as well as an in-person orientation with Human Resources.
