About the role#
Worthington Enterprises is hiring a Price Risk Intern to support the Purchasing Department. You will gain experience in procurement while working within the cylinder manufacturing industry. This position is part-time during the school year and full-time during the summer.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and distribute the Weekly Sourcing Update.
- Handle trade confirmations and reconcile trade sheets with JDE to ensure accuracy.
- Place purchase orders and maintain delivery information in the ERP system.
- Research invoice or purchase order discrepancies.
- Work with suppliers to expedite orders and complete vendor returns.
- Follow departmental procedures for procurement tasks.
- Generate reports and manage special projects as needed.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least 2 years of college.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week during the summer and part-time during the school year.
- Strong critical thinking skills to resolve daily issues.
- A reliable, hard-working, and responsible approach to tasks.
