About the role#
The Sports Operations Intern assists in the frontline execution, guest relations, and logistical delivery of summer camps, leagues, tournaments, and open-play events. This role provides hands-on experience in sports venue management, database coordination, and guest service within a resort environment.
What you'll do#
- Lead the physical staging, setup, and teardown of all match-day field configurations, including moving goals, benches, and field equipment.
- Execute daily tournament and camp operations, such as participant check-ins, credential distribution, and roster verification.
- Serve as a guest relations point of contact at entry gates and information hubs.
- Manage the sports division inquiry inbox by vetting, sorting, and routing incoming communications.
- Review registration reports and troubleshoot transaction issues using Bond, Stripe, and Sigma platforms.
- Support summer day camp tracks by assisting with drop-offs and policy enforcement.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent graduation from an accredited undergraduate or graduate program in Sport Management, Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field.
- High-level familiarity with multi-sport rules and dimensions, specifically for soccer, flag football, or field sports.
- Ability to regularly lift and move athletic equipment up to 50 pounds waist-high.
- Prior experience in campus recreation, youth camp operations, athletic event hosting, or volunteer tournament execution is preferred.
- First Aid/CPR/AED certification is preferred but not required.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

- This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship with a rolling term.
