About the role#
We are looking for Transportation Engineering Interns to join our team for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid position based in Ohio. You will work alongside licensed engineers on infrastructure projects, including traffic, roadway, pedestrian facilities, bridges, and structures. This role requires you to work from our offices at least two days per week.
What you'll do#
- Gain experience by working on real projects alongside licensed engineers.
- Assist with analysis, design, plan production, and cost estimation.
- Use software applications such as Civil 3D and OpenRoads Designer.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external subconsultants, and clients.
- Complete tasks and solve problems with a high degree of independence.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at an accredited college or university, preferably with at least sophomore status.
- Pursuit of a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Multitasking and time management skills.
- A readiness to learn.

- Locations: Cincinnati, Columbus, or Dayton, Ohio.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May-August).
- Modality: Hybrid (requires at least 2 days per week in-office).
- Employment: Full-time (40 hours per week).
