About the role#
Woodstream Corporation is seeking a Global Sourcing Intern to join our Strategic Sourcing team for the Summer 2027 term. This internship offers the chance to work alongside sourcing professionals managing a 50-70 million dollar annual spend portfolio. You will contribute to active sourcing projects and explore how AI and data-driven automation can improve modern procurement operations.
What you'll do#
- Build structured RFQ packages and analyze supplier pricing data to inform sourcing decisions.
- Gather and analyze lead time data across the supplier base to identify supply chain risks.
- Utilize ProTrack to log quality-related data and monitor open corrective actions.
- Assist in updating supplier scorecards and maintaining contract documentation.
- Research and pilot AI tools for tasks like RFQ automation and market intelligence gathering.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or a closely related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated interest in leveraging AI and automation to improve business processes.
