About the role#
The Customer Experience Intern will support initiatives to improve service for members, representatives, and associates. This 10-week summer program provides hands-on exposure to customer insights, journey mapping, process improvement, and project coordination. You will work across departments to identify opportunities that enhance service, efficiency, and overall customer satisfaction.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of customer and agent journey maps.
- Analyze customer feedback, survey results, complaint trends, and Voice of Customer data.
- Document current-state and future-state business processes.
- Support project management activities, including action logs, project plans, and deliverable tracking.
- Conduct research on customer experience best practices, industry trends, and competitor insights.
- Help develop dashboards, scorecards, presentations, and executive reports.
- Collaborate with teams in Sales, Operations, Marketing, Business Technology, and Fraternal.
- Use AI technologies to streamline workflows and promote ethical AI use.
- Summarize your project accomplishments and key learnings in a capstone presentation.
- Participate in internship cohort activities and leadership engagement opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Business Analytics, Communications, Project Management, or a related field.
- Current standing as a sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and related Office applications.
- Ability to gather, interpret, and present data from multiple sources.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with or interest in using AI tools like Copilot, including an understanding of data privacy and bias mitigation.
- Demonstrated leadership through school, work, volunteer, or extracurricular activities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
