About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in audit work while working alongside professionals across the firm. You will support client engagements as an individual contributor and as part of a team. This role is a full-time, paid position for the Spring 2028 term.
What you'll do#
- Perform audit, review, and compliance testing procedures based on professional standards.
- Gather information by responding to client inquiries and firm requests.
- Use data analysis skills to find patterns and support recommendations.
- Prepare and review financial statements, footnotes, and management reports.
- Build technical competency with GAAP.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelors or Master’s degree in Accounting.
- Completion of a corporate or individual taxation class.
- Working towards eligibility to sit for the CPA exam upon graduation.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Preferred coursework in Data Analytics or Big Data.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Location & details#
This position is based in Tinley Park, Illinois. It requires an in-person work arrangement, meaning you will work 5 days a week in the office or at client sites.
