About the role#
Wipfli is offering a paid Audit Internship for the Winter 2028 term. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Denver, Colorado. You will work alongside professionals from all levels of the firm to gain hands-on experience in audit engagements across a variety of industries.
What you'll do#
- Perform audit, review, and compliance testing procedures according to firm and professional standards.
- Prepare financial statements, footnotes, management reports, and other engagement outputs.
- Communicate with engagement leaders regarding open items, testing problems, or other important matters.
- Develop technical competency with GAAP.
- Use data analysis skills to discover useful information and patterns to support recommendations.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting.
- Completion of a corporate or individual taxation class.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Working towards eligibility to sit for the CPA exam upon graduation.
- Ability to think independently and make sound decisions based on your education and experience.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
