About the role#
Wintrust is hiring for a Summer 2027 Information Technology Internship based in Rosemont, Illinois. This is a 12-week, full-time, paid program running from May through August. You will work 40 hours per week and participate in cohort events and professional development activities.
What you'll do#
- Identify data quality issues and bad merges within the Master Data Management system for Data Steward validation.
- Build reference data models and datasets to support Enterprise Reference Data Management.
- Collaborate with the Content Authoring team to develop customer journeys and experiences using Adobe Experience Manager.
- Partner with Marketing UI and UX teams to create customer experiences.
- Work with the Software Engineering team to write code, build modules, and manage over 85 websites.
- Assist with program and project management, including documenting requirements and building project plans for business initiatives.
- Support software workflows, hardware asset disposals, and physical hardware inventories.
- Automate technology control validation steps using Python or automation testing tools.
- Document IT Risk Management procedures and record surveys from internal teams participating in RCSA.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a U.S. college or university, preferably entering your junior or senior year.
- A degree concentration in Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or C++.
- Familiarity with automation tools like UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Power Automate.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Demonstrated leadership, volunteering, or extra-curricular experience.
- Authorization to work permanently in the U.S. now and in the future, as sponsorship is not provided.
