About the role#
Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers and Architects is seeking a College Intern to join the team in Phoenix, Arizona. This is a paid, year-round position focused on Transportation Engineering. Interns work directly with project managers and experienced engineers to support real-world projects and gain experience in the built environment.
What you'll do#
- Perform hands-on work to apply classroom concepts to professional engineering projects.
- Assist project managers and collaborate with partners to execute client visions.
- Solve complex technical problems.
- Work under the direct supervision of a Project Engineer or Project Manager.
- Participate as an active member of the project team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Civil Engineering degree program with an interest in Transportation Engineering, such as highway, municipal roadway, or traffic engineering.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Strong problem-solving skills, written and oral communication skills, and a professional work ethic.
- Ability to maintain a balance between academic, personal, and internship responsibilities.
