About the role#
Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers and Architects is seeking a Civil Engineering intern to join our Omaha office. This is a paid, year-round internship designed to help you apply your classroom knowledge to real-world civil engineering projects. You will work alongside experienced engineers to solve complex problems and assist project managers in delivering solutions for the built environment.
What you'll do#
- Perform hands-on work on active client projects.
- Collaborate with team members and project partners.
- Assist project managers with daily tasks and project requirements.
- Gain exposure to our firm culture to help evaluate potential future career paths.
- Receive hands-on and tutorial training in areas such as highway, municipal roadway, and drainage engineering.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Civil Engineering student.
- Strong interest in a civil-works career, including highway, municipal roadway, or drainage engineering.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proven problem-solving skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work under the direct supervision of a Project Engineer.
- Ability to manage a balance between school, internship, and personal demands.
- Highly responsible and dependable nature.

- Location: Omaha, Nebraska.
