About the role#
Wilson & Company is hiring a College Intern for our Salina, Kansas office. This role focuses on Transportation Engineering, including highway, municipal roadway, and traffic engineering. You will gain hands-on experience and training while working alongside experienced engineers on real-world projects.
What you'll do#
- Apply classroom knowledge to active projects.
- Solve complex engineering problems.
- Assist project managers with daily tasks.
- Work with team members to produce designs for the built environment.
- Collaborate under the direct supervision of a Project Engineer or Project Manager.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Civil Engineering student.
- Interest in a career in Transportation Engineering.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to solve problems effectively.
- A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Dependability and a high level of responsibility.
- Ability to balance school, personal demands, and the internship.

- Location: Salina, Kansas.
- Modality: On-site only. No remote work is available.
- Commute: You must be able to commute between school and the office.
