About the role#

What you'll do#
- Participate in training to build proficiency in accounting software and tools.
- Work with experienced staff on audits, reviews, compilations, and tax compliance tasks.
- Analyze financial data, identify trends, and help prepare reports.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and tax returns while ensuring accuracy.
- Take part in community service initiatives through the internal WeGive committee.
- Engage in shadowing opportunities and team-building activities.
What you'll need#
- Current college junior or senior status pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Strong academic record in your Accounting studies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective communication and collaboration.
- Enthusiasm for the internship program and an interest in contributing to a mid-sized firm.
Location & details#
- Location: East Brunswick, New Jersey.
- Term: Summer 2027 (June through mid-August).
- Schedule: 3 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday) from 9am to 5pm.
- Modality: Hybrid.
- Compensation: $28.00 per hour.
