About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in Auburn Hills, Michigan. You will work with the purchasing team to manage contracts, handle procurement tasks, and support plant operations.
What you'll do#
- Maintain spare parts contracts and pricing records in SAP.
- Procure services and MRO items for plant operations.
- Complete Request for Quotations.
- Assist with contract negotiations.
- Manage supplier escalations.
- Support suppliers with invoicing processes.
- Participate in projects and workgroups to identify cost savings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor or master degree program in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Strong planning and problem-solving skills.
- An analytical approach to work with a focus on interdepartmental and customer-oriented outcomes.
- Prior internship experience is a plus.
