About the role#
Wayside Youth & Family Support Network is seeking a Clinical Intern for the Fall 2026 term. This role is based in Framingham, Massachusetts, and is open to second or final year Master level students. You will work within our community services programs to provide care for families and individuals facing serious emotional disturbances. This is a paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Perform intakes, assessments, and develop individual care plans.
- Provide follow up care and manage on-going treatment.
- Coordinate care for families and individuals by connecting them with relevant services and resources.
- Collaborate with a variety of systems and providers to support client needs.
- Attend and participate in weekly staff meetings and intern seminars.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a second or final year graduate student in Psychology, Public Health, Nursing, Sociology, Human Resources, Health Administration, or Criminal Justice.
- Availability for a minimum of 20 hours per week, including two evenings.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort working in various settings, including office environments, home visits, and community meetings.
- A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for community travel.
- A background in health and human services is preferred.
- Successful completion of a CORI check and the Wayside pre-service orientation.
