About the role#
This is an 11-week internship based at our Kinston, North Carolina facility. You will spend the summer conducting an operations efficiency study focused on our poultry processing workflows. The program runs from May 17 through July 30, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Collect and interpret data from various points in the processing operation.
- Form hypotheses based on your observations and recommend long-term solutions.
- Present your findings to peers, managers, and senior leadership.
- Manage multiple tasks and perform additional duties as assigned.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an associate, bachelor's, or graduate degree program.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- An analytical mindset and the ability to organize complex information.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility to work non-standard hours for data collection purposes.
- A self-motivated approach to building relationships with mentors and colleagues.
