About the role#
As a Total Rewards and HRIS Intern, you will support compensation, benefits, and HR information systems projects. This role reports to the VP of Total Rewards and HRIS and offers hands-on experience with job profiles, compensation structures, Workday functionality, HR data analytics, and employee benefits. You will collaborate with departments across the organization to support projects that enhance company growth and operations.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the company-wide job profile project, including job descriptions, benchmarking, and compensation band reviews.
- Support the development of the revised compensation framework and related reporting.
- Assist in the execution of projects and the design, implementation, and support of Workday system functionality.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR system efficiency, effectiveness, and the overall end-user experience.
- Create and maintain process, system, and end-user documentation.
- Analyze HR data and support the development of HR metrics and reporting.
- Assist with employee benefits activities, including health and retirement benefits.
- Identify opportunities to enhance HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Support the Human Resources team with day-to-day operations.
- Collaborate with departments across the organization to support Total Rewards and HRIS projects.
- Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current student with junior or senior status pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong sense of accountability and commitment to integrity.
- Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
- Must successfully establish employment eligibility and complete background checks.
