About the role#
The Audit Internship at WaterOne offers exposure to the daily operations of our organization. You will work with the Internal Audit department to understand how auditors function within a business. This role provides insight into company processes, specifically within accounting and purchasing. You will interact with various levels of management to discuss risks and controls.
What you'll do#
- Monitor internal controls across various processes to identify deficiencies or red flags.
- Assist with internal audits, including planning, fieldwork, and report writing.
- Participate in meetings with management regarding risk and control topics.
- Perform annual reviews of standard operating procedures for various departments.
- Contribute to special projects as needed, including potential work with the Legal department.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program related to Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to meet WaterOne driving standards.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently.
- Good oral and written communication skills.

- Status: Full-time, paid at $18.00 per hour.
