The paid internship provides an opportunity to showcase your abilities in one of our accounting, finance or tax groups that supports various business units throughout the company. The program provides practical work experience to develop your existing skillset, present to senior leadership, and collaborate with key internal stakeholders. Each intern will be relied upon to play a role in achieving department objectives and goals. The program will allow you to apply what you’ve learned in school and further enhance your knowledge through hands on training and provide opportunities to network and learn with other interns across the CFO organization.Typical intern responsibilities may include but are not limited to:Participate in the monthly financial process; journal entry preparation, close, budgeting/forecasting, reconciliations, etc.Assist with reporting (financial, regulatory, tax, FERC, SEC and/or operational)Review financial data to identify trends, variances, discrepancies, and business driversCollaborate with teams and business partners to gather information and support data requestsAssist audit, compliance, tax filings, transaction support and due diligence activitiesAssist and/or suggest improvements to processes, documentation through automation or knowledge sharingExposure to various financial systems/toolsParticipate in/support special projects as assignedThis position is for a May 24, 2027 start date.
