About the role#
Warner Bros. Discovery is offering paid, hybrid internship opportunities in Sports Marketing and Social Media for the Fall 2026 term. These roles are based in Atlanta, Georgia, and are designed to provide hands-on experience in the entertainment and sports media industries. Interns will work 16-24 hours per week over a 10-week period, from October 12th to December 18th.
What you'll do#
- Support producers in developing and creating sport-specific content for platforms like Bleacher Report.
- Participate in brainstorms and pitch ideas for short-form storytelling.
- Write scripts for short-form content executions.
- Compile notes, images, and footage to guide post-production.
- Assist in the preparation of assets for long-form content.
- Collaborate with the team on the development and execution of email and in-app marketing strategies.
- Create copy and generate ideas for new campaigns.
- Develop performance reports and manage metrics tracking documentation.
- Create deeplinks and manage their implementation across platforms.
- Develop creative briefs and route design feedback.
What you'll need#
- Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university as a rising Junior or Senior.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA in academic good standing.
- Strong passion for television content, pop culture, and internet sports culture.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Office 365 suite.
- Understanding of content creation, social media platforms, and content marketing strategies.
- Experience with content calendars and creating basic content executions is preferred.
- Background or interest in growth or email marketing is a plus.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
Location & details#
- Location: Atlanta, Georgia.
- Modality: Hybrid, requiring regular office attendance based on the manager's schedule.
- Compensation: $19 per hour for undergraduate interns, $25 per hour for graduate-level interns.
- Eligibility: Applicants must be 18 years or older and currently enrolled in an accredited degree program.
