About the role#
This is a full-time Pharmacy Intern Grad position based in Colorado Springs. You will work on-site to support pharmacy operations, provide patient care, and assist the pharmacy manager with daily workflows and team development. This role is paid and follows a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Provide pharmacy consulting services and counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and interactions.
- Perform compounding, verification, and dispensation of prescribed medications.
- Engage with customers to offer assistance and resolve issues.
- Deliver clinical and wellness services, including immunizations and flu shots.
- Help the pharmacy manager with staff training, workflow procedures, and performance data analysis.
- Maintain knowledge of pharmacy systems, process insurance claims, and manage inventory.
- Ensure the pharmacy operates according to company policy and government regulations.
What you'll need#
- Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree from an accredited institution before your start date.
- Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure from the Board of Pharmacy within 90 days of hire.
- Must be a certified immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days of hire.
