About the role#
This is a full-time Pharmacy Intern Grad position based in Londonderry, New Hampshire. You will support pharmacy operations while gaining experience in clinical, retail, and wellness services. This role is paid and follows a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Provide pharmacy consulting services regarding medication usage, drug interactions, and side effects.
- Perform clinical and wellness services, including immunizations, flu shots, and diabetes awareness.
- Ensure proper compounding, dispensation, review, and verification of prescribed medications.
- Support efficient pharmacy workflow and assist the pharmacy manager with inventory management and financial optimization.
- Engage with customers to resolve issues and answer questions about over-the-counter products.
- Process insurance claims and resolve payment rejections.
- Assist the pharmacy manager with staff hiring, training, and performance management.
- Maintain proficiency in pharmacy systems including Intercom Plus, registers, and StoreNET.
What you'll need#
- A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree from an accredited institution prior to your start date.
- Ability to obtain pharmacist licensure from the state Board of Pharmacy within 90 days of hire.
- Current certification as an immunizer or the willingness to become certified within 90 days of hire.
