About the role#
This is a full-time Pharmacy Intern Grad position based in Brunswick, Maine. You will work on-site to support pharmacy operations, patient care, and clinical services. This role involves a mix of retail, clinical, and administrative tasks to ensure efficient pharmacy performance and positive customer outcomes.
What you'll do#
- Provide pharmacy consulting services regarding medication usage, drug interactions, and preventive healthcare.
- Perform clinical tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, and medication verification.
- Deliver wellness services such as immunizations and flu shots.
- Counsel patients on side effects, contraindications, and medication adherence.
- Assist the pharmacy manager with inventory management, pharmacy financials, and staff training.
- Engage with customers to resolve issues and provide product assistance.
- Maintain proficiency in pharmacy systems including Intercom Plus, registers, and StoreNET.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with the local medical community.
What you'll need#
- Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree from an accredited institution prior to your start date.
- Ability to obtain pharmacist licensure from the state Board of Pharmacy within 90 days of hire.
- Status as a Certified Immunizer or a willingness to become one within 90 days of hire.
