About the role#
This is a full-time Pharmacy Intern Grad position at Walgreens. You will work on-site in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. This role is paid and follows a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Consult with customers on medication usage, drug interactions, and over-the-counter products.
- Provide preventive healthcare services, including immunizations.
- Handle the compounding, dispensation, review, and verification of prescribed medications.
- Support pharmacy workflow and assist the pharmacy manager with inventory and financial management.
- Resolve customer issues and engage with the community.
- Process insurance claims and coordinate with medical providers.
- Assist with staff training, hiring, and performance coaching.
- Maintain proficiency in pharmacy systems such as Intercom Plus and StoreNET.
What you'll need#
- A willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree from an accredited institution.
- Ability to obtain pharmacist licensure from the Board of Pharmacy within 90 days of hire.
- Status as a Certified Immunizer or a willingness to become one within 90 days of hire.
