About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the supervision of a pharmacist to assist in the practice of pharmacy. You will learn to provide patient care, process prescriptions, and manage pharmacy operations in accordance with company policy and state and federal regulations.
What you'll do#
- Assist the pharmacist in providing patient care and services.
- Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient information and process prescriptions.
- Engage with customers by greeting them, answering questions, and resolving issues.
- Perform inventory management tasks including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceutical shipments.
- Register sales on the cash register and handle telephone calls.
- Maintain the pharmacy department in a clean and orderly condition.
- Report any prescription errors immediately to the pharmacist on duty.
- Complete required training and stay informed on pharmacy developments.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a school of Pharmacy program.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- A willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

- Location: Dallas, Texas.
- This is a part-time, paid position.
- The role follows a rolling term and is on-site.
