About the role#
This is a full-time Pharmacy Intern position based in Parker, Colorado. You will work on-site, supporting pharmacy operations and patient care. This role is open on a rolling basis.
What you'll do#
- Provide pharmacy consulting services to customers, including medication usage and preventive healthcare advice.
- Handle the compounding, dispensation, review, and verification of prescribed medications.
- Support efficient pharmacy workflow and assist the pharmacy manager with inventory management and financial performance.
- Engage with customers to resolve issues and provide assistance.
- Maintain regulatory compliance and manage pharmacy operations, including opening and closing duties.
- Process insurance claims and coordinate with medical providers regarding prescriptions.
- Deliver retail, clinical, and wellness services, such as immunizations.
- Assist with staff hiring, training, and development.
- Participate in community outreach activities to support pharmacy growth.
What you'll need#
- A willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree.
- A commitment to obtain pharmacist licensure within 90 days of hire.
- Certification as an immunizer, or a willingness to become certified within 90 days of hire.
