About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a pharmacist to support daily operations and patient care. This role focuses on learning pharmacy practices, regulations, and customer service standards while gaining hands-on experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the practice of pharmacy and process prescriptions using pharmacy systems.
- Engage with customers by greeting them, answering questions, and resolving issues.
- Provide patient counseling and health services within the scope of your training.
- Handle sales transactions at the cash register and manage cash.
- Support inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and organizing pharmaceutical stock.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Pharmacy Department.
- Report any prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty immediately.
- Complete all required training and follow company policies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a school of Pharmacy program.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

- Compensation: Paid position with an hourly range of $19.50 to $31.00.
