About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in a retail pharmacy setting. You will work under the supervision of a pharmacist to support patient care and pharmacy operations while following state and federal regulations. This role focuses on learning pharmacy policies, developing customer service skills, and assisting the pharmacy team with daily tasks.
What you'll do#
- Engage with customers by greeting them, answering questions, and helping them find products.
- Use pharmacy systems to access patient information and process prescriptions.
- Assist with prescription duties, including data entry, third-party processing, filling, and dispensing.
- Support pharmacists with patient care services like medication therapy management and blood pressure checks.
- Handle cash register transactions and manage incoming telephone calls.
- Help with inventory tasks such as ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceutical shipments.
- Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy department.
- Report any prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty immediately.
- Complete all required training and stay updated on pharmacy developments.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a school of Pharmacy program.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

- Work is on-site.
- This is a paid, full-time role with a rolling term.
