About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Pharmacy Intern position for Summer 2027. You will work on-site in Centennial, Colorado, to gain hands-on experience in a retail pharmacy setting. You will learn to assist pharmacists and pharmacy team members while following state, federal, and company regulations.
What you'll do#
You will support the pharmacy team by using internal systems to process prescriptions, manage third-party billing, and handle inventory. A key part of your role involves patient care, where you will assist with counseling, health services, and answering customer questions. You will also manage register transactions, handle phone calls, and maintain a clean, organized workspace. You are expected to report any prescription errors immediately and follow the Pharmacy Code of Conduct.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a school of Pharmacy program.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- A flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends.
- Preferred: Six months of retail experience, prior work with Walgreens, and strong math skills for accurate prescription filling.
