This is a full-time, paid student position for the Summer 2026 term. Based in Carp, Ontario, the Technical Services Representative supports the CBM Ready-Mix division by ensuring quality standards for concrete and raw materials across various construction projects.
What you'll do#
- Visit job sites to perform CSA and ASTM concrete and raw materials testing.
- Record test data and apply statistical quality control procedures.
- Supervise and plan for the efficient use of materials and equipment.
- Promote value-added products while collecting market and job site information.
- Recommend modifications to existing quality or production standards and procedures.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Civil Engineering Technician (CET) program or a similar field of study.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel.
- A valid G2 or G driver's license and the ability to operate a company pick-up truck.
- Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Construction field experience is considered an asset.
