About the role#
This internship focuses on digital transformation within the Volvo Group. You will work with the People & Culture and Production teams to build low-code solutions that improve internal communication and HR processes. This is a paid, on-site role located in Middletown, Pennsylvania, for the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Design and build Power Apps to support HR dashboards, request forms, and engagement tools.
- Create and maintain Power BI dashboards to visualize workforce data and communications impact.
- Optimize SharePoint sites and lists to improve internal knowledge sharing.
- Automate workflows using Power Automate to streamline approvals and notifications.
- Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into intuitive digital tools.
- Document your work and create user guides to help employees adopt new solutions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Completion of at least 30 semester hours of undergraduate study.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75.
- Basic experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power BI, and SharePoint.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Excel, and database concepts like SQL or data modeling.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to explain technical solutions clearly.
- A collaborative approach and a willingness to learn new technologies.
