About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in Clifton, New Jersey. The role follows a 9/80 schedule where you work 80 hours over 9 days, giving you every other Friday off.
What you'll do#
- Configure and document hardware and software systems, including loading software onto various devices.
- Help design and implement procedures to test and troubleshoot components, sub-assemblies, and systems.
- Create test plans, procedures, and reports while maintaining requirements traceability.
- Document testing failures and analyze the results.
- Participate in formal systems acceptance testing.
- Present your test strategies and findings to internal and external customers.
- Contribute to failure investigations and attend failure review board meetings.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of communications systems, software programming, automated testing, networks, network security, power systems, antennas, RF, or mechanical design is preferred.
- Experience with requirements analysis, software scripting, or automated testing frameworks is a plus.
