About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship based in Macungie, Pennsylvania. You will join the Quality department during the Winter 2027 term. This role requires on-site attendance.
What you'll do#
- Track and report on Quality department metrics.
- Maintain the Quality Management System to ensure compliance with current ISO standards.
- Work with plant personnel to meet production and quality goals.
- Assist in integrating the Quality Management System into a global Operational Management System.
- Support and measure quality-in-station practices across assembly areas.
- Participate in root cause analysis for defects and develop solutions.
- Handle various projects as assigned by your supervisor.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program for Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
- Completion of at least 30 credit hours before the internship starts.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75.
- Preference for Junior or Senior standing in good academic standing.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- A sense of urgency when addressing production issues.
- Ability to thrive in a team environment.
